As part of 2016’s community-themed London Festival of Architecture and RIBA Open Studio programmes, HUT are opening our doors under the guise of your proud local: The HUTmaker’s Arms. On Tuesday 14th June, 6-8pm, we will showcase current design work and share some locally-brewed craft beer. Following the success of our Open Studio format in previous years, we will give a couple of pecha-kucha style presentations, focussing on current projects that deal with notions of community in our own neighbourhood, such as flexible workplaces in Shoreditch/Clerkenwell and residences that respond to the pressure for shared housing. The HUT bar team will be on hand to discuss our projects & practice life while models, drawings, photos & CGIs will form the backdrop to the evening. Please be sure to RSVP to rsvp@hutarchitecture.com. London Festival of Architecture runs from 1 – 30 June. All festival events are listed on the London Architecture Diary.
