HUT Director Rachael Davidson spoke on a panel of experts to discuss the current trend for industrial design and concrete-inspired surfaces in conjunction with Cosentino. The discussion, entitled ‘Seeing Beauty in the Imperfections: Exploring Industrial Design’, focussed on the variety of applications for Dekton and Silestone surfaces including flooring, external facades, wall cladding and, of course, worktops. The panel came from a variety of backgrounds – alongside Rachael were: Graham Robinson, Showroom and Design Manager at Halcyon Interiors; Colin Wong, Creative Director of Development Direct; Adam Thornton, Founding Director of 5Plus Architects; and Chris Hay, Commercial Manager at Cosentino
