Mayfair Apartment

This project included the complete refurbishment of a 3-bedroom apartment located in an iconic part of Mayfair, within a Grade II Listed building. The proposals celebrate the historical features and layout hierarchy, whilst sensibly modernising it with contemporary design to suit the requirements of a modern family. Our involvement from the projects inception to collaborate, design, and develop the proposals with artists, suppliers, contractors and furniture providers allowed a cohesive design vision to be delivered. Artists collaborations with Rachael Dein (Botanical plaster artist) and Nancy Sutcliffe (free-hand glass diamond tip engraver – working sketches shown below) added a unique and personalised elegance to the composition of the walls and glazing within the apartment. Close design development with specialist joinery providers enabled the delivery of one of a kind fitted furniture pieces using an array of materials like cast mirror, backlit onyx marble, cut mirror, paint and wood finishes.
