HUT have been appointed to create the first London showroom for international wood based surfaces manufacturer – Kronospan.
HUT have worked closely with Kronospan’s internal marketing team Inlink, to deliver a showroom which is both international and brand aligned, while remaining London centric and site specific.
At the heart of the showroom is an installation created by HUT which encapsulates the Kronospan story – Seed to Surface.
The installation represents the vertical integration of manufacturing, the circularity of timber as material, and the vast array of finishes which Kronospan produces through this process.
All timber products stripped out of the existing building were sent to Kronospans recycling facility in Chirk, Wales. All new timber products in the project are manufactured from recycled wood waste and manufactured and supplied by Kronospan, from floor structure to wall linings; kitchen surfaces to the exterior building cladding.
