Future Face

Undertaken in partnership with Studio Myerscough, HUT designed the architectural elements of the Future Face exhibition at the Science Museum Wellcome Gallery. The three main forms or ‘heads’ are clad in pink ripstop fabric – one for each of the main themes of the exhibition, the content of which revolves around what faces really tell us, what makes them unique, and how art and science transform them. Each ‘head’ is fronted by a 4.4m high image hoarding, and by passing behind these iconic faces the visitor is able to move around the different exhibition zones. The final ‘head’ is opened up at the back and forms a gateway to the final area of the exhibition.
