Since January, Matt has been part of the Emerging Tools team, one of 6 think tanks at the London School of Architecture. Emerging Tools have been working closely with Hawkins Brown, PDP and OEB Architects to address the UN Sustainable Development goals and this week presented at the opening of the LSA’s Design Think Tank exhibition. Emerging Tools proposed a Civic Station, a new model of transport infrastructure development that prioritises social wellbeing. Using Seven Sisters as a testbed, the project demonstrates how an alternative procurement route for Crossrail 2 can achieve a more equitable approach, creating skills, jobs and new housing. The exhibition was at the Roca London Gallery, Station Court, Townmead Road, London. See here for more information on how the event went
