It wasn’t long ago that British Land launched it’s flexible work space brand Storey. A scheme that focused on creating work spaces that were adaptable to the tenant, communal work zones, a modern aesthetic and flexible tenancy agreements ensuring not just the big cats could afford to be there. HUT designed three work spaces for Storey in London, Appold Studios which was an AJ Retrofit Awards finalist, International House and Finsbury Avenue an AJ Spec Awards 2019 . The Finsbury Avenue project included a full transformation of a dated corporate office building into a modern and vibrant workplace. HUT worked in collaboration with Clippings to implement contemporary seating, striking accent colours & feature lighting to enhance the existing building. Clippings use the Finsbury Avenue case study as an example of working in collaboration with an architect to successfully deliver a brief. Here is Clippings’s case study to read.
