Recently completed project, Challoner House, is featured in ‘Architects’ Journal Specification’ which focusses on flooring. The project, located in Clerkenwell, honours the building’s original materials while introducing sustainably specified new elements.
A key intervention is the part-removal of suspended timber ground-floor to create a double-height ‘town hall’ space that visually connects with the basement below.
